A dream come true
I am always dreaming of living on a farm. For one night I got to enjoy the calm peaceful life on a farm. I will still dream of being on a farm and sitting on the porch listening to nature after a hard days work (my hard work was mountain biking for 3 straight days).

Rainy but Peaceful night with Zoe
I drove a couple of hours total to a bare-bones site, paid to sleep on the ground, spent the night listening to rain drops hit the tent, then spent twenty minutes packing up in the rain. BUT, I took a no-highway route which was peaceful, we were alone in the quiet, but got to meet and chat with the very nice man on the farm next door (owner's uncle?) - who totally reminded me of my Dad - who said to knock if we needed anything (we didn't). The rain was steady from about 2:00am on but we had a great fire going before that, the rain was light with the apple trees giving us cover, and the dog and I both slept well. Of course we had a good time. Just the quiet night away from home that I wanted.

This is a nice place. It's clean, on a quiet road, surrounded by cornfield and farmhouses. I think that's what the host means by "150 acres". The actual available space is a couple of acres.
A couple of low-tech improvements would help: a hand-drawn map showing what areas ARE available for strolling, walking dogs,etc., with corresponding site boundary markers; if the host lists the campsites individually, and allows site-specific reservations, then the sites should be marked onsite, and site-specific reservations should be honored. I don't see the need for that. Just clearly state in the description that it's 1st come 1st serve site selection. The campground comfortably fits 3 parties, as far as we could tell. 3 sites are roomy, and level enough without leveling jacks. The sites are right off the road, on either side of the driveway, and at the back of the driveway itself. If you have dogs, you'll be walking them along the road, which is fine. If you CAN walk other places, please make those clear with an onsite and/or online map.
